Rolled sheet is a very common material in industrial construction. Rolled sheet at room temperature is cold-rolled sheet, and cold-rolled sheet is the rolling of hot-rolled coils below the recrystallization temperature. The hot-rolled sheet is rolled above the recrystallization temperature. So what is the difference between ASTM A283 carbon steel plate sheet, hot rolled sheet and cold rolled sheet?

ASTM A36 is a common mild steel(carbon structure steel grade). It is widely used in morden industry owning to its cheapest rolling cost and easiest welding. ASTM A283 carbon steel plate sheet, ASTM A36 mild steel is equivalent to grade Q235B under Chinese steel standard, grade S235JR under European steel standard EN 10025-2, grade SS400 in Japanese steel standard. These mild steel plates and sections are commonly bolted and riveted in structural applications.

The main challenges facing the current low-carbon development of the steel industry are as follows: First, insufficient energy resource endowments, coal and coke account for nearly 90% of energy input. Second, the crude steel output is relatively large, accounting for more than half of the global output. Third, there are a large number of enterprises, with more than 500 enterprises with smelting capabilities, and their structure and level are quite different. Fourth, the carbon emission mechanism is complex, involving multiple carbon emission mechanisms such as energy combustion emissions, indirect emissions corresponding to electricity and heat consumption.

When the ASTM A283 carbon steel plate sheet thickness of the part is 14-20mm, the verticality of the section should not be greater than 12% of the thickness of the part.For their inspection mark, it is stipulated that: if the steel plate, section steel processing parts or stamping parts are inspected and qualified, the quality mark should be attached to prove that the inspection is qualified.
