Surface quality inspection of SA709 grade 50 carbon steel plate sheet

1.4306 characteristics and applications: X2CrNi189 stainless steel, German DIN standard stainless steel. It is equivalent to 00Cr19Ni10 in my country and SUS304L in Japan. The difference from 304L stainless steel is only in terms of nitrogen content and nickel content. The former is 0.04 and 10.1, and the latter is 0.06 and 8.3. This material distinction is common in the Swedish Avista series.

Special boiler steel is derived from carbon structural steel, SA709 grade 50 carbon steel plate sheet. The expression of boiler steel grade is similar to that of high-quality carbon structural steel, and the carbon content is usually 0.20%. The chemical composition of boiler steel is basically the same as that of high-quality carbon structural steel of the same brand, but the mechanical properties are strictly required, especially the impact toughness, and the aging sensitivity is required to be small. After deoxidation and removal of non-metallic inclusions, boiler steel has a uniform structure, the grain size is controlled at 3-7 grade, and the defects such as interlayer, shrinkage, porosity and porosity are relatively less.

In order to easily and economically perform hot or cold processing to make various parts of engineering structures, the low alloy high strength steel must have appropriate forming properties. Although the yield point of low alloy high strength steel is high, even if the forming operation is deformed quite severely, cold bending presses, drawing machines, presses and other equipment used for carbon structural steel forming can also be used for low alloy high strength steel, but some equipment needs to be modified.
