The main applications of normalizing are as follows:① For low carbon steel, SA514 Gr B steel material. The hardness of low carbon steel after normalizing is slightly higher than that after annealing, and the toughness is also better, so normalizing can be used as the pretreatment of cutting.② For medium carbon steel, normalizing can be used as the final heat treatment instead of quenching and tempering treatment, or as the preparation treatment before surface quenching by induction heating.③ Normalizing can be used in tool steel, bearing steel, carburizing steel and so on, which can eliminate or inhibit the formation of network carbide, thus obtaining the good microstructure needed for spheroidizing annealing.④ Normalizing can refine the cast structure and improve the machinability of steel castings.

We have lots of successful cases, for example in July 2015, we exported 5714 tons ASTM A36 mild steel plate to Peru. After receiving the plates and putting then into use, our customer spoke highly of the ASTM A36 mild steel plate quality. In addition, the customer also introduced us an Venezuela customer, who bought 933 tons A36 steel SA514 Gr B steel material plate from us. And then in Mar. 2016, due to the first cooperation in July 2015 is very successful. The customer is very satisfied with our product quality and comprehensive service. This time, the customer place an 3989 tons order directly.

Composition of low alloy steel plate: Low carbon: due to the high requirements for toughness, weldability and cold formability of low alloy steel plate, the carbon content is not more than 0.20%; manganese is added; the auxiliary elements such as niobium, titanium or vanadium are added; a small amount of niobium, titanium or vanadium forms fine carbide or carbonitride in the steel, which is conducive to obtaining fine ferrite grains and improving the strength and toughness of low alloy steel plate; in addition, The corrosion resistance of SA514 Gr B steel material, low alloy steel plate can be improved by adding a small amount of copper (< 0.4%) and phosphorus (about 0.1%).
