In October 19th 2018, our Malaysia customer purchased 600 Tons CCS Grade AH36 mairne steel EN steel grade S420N material plates to use in their shipbuilding project .This customer is a famous shipyard company in Malaysia. Their company has the business scope of tourism, shipbuilding, transportation and so on. As a terminal manufacturer, they have strict requirements on quality for CCS Grade AH36 mairne steel plates. After visiting our steel milll, the customer is very satisfied with the quality of this batch of CCS Grade AH36 steel plates.

Chemical elements of 42SiMn steel: C: 0.39-0.45, Si: 1.10-1.40, Mn: 1.10-1.40. Mechanical properties of 42SiMn steel: tensile strength 885 MPa; yield strength 735 MPa; elongation after fracture: 15; reduction of area: 40; impact energy: 47J. 42SiMn steel belongs to alloy quenched and tempered steel with good properties, high strength, wear resistance and hardenability. Under certain conditions, the strength, wear resistance and hot working performance of 42SiMn steel are better than 40Cr steel, EN steel grade S420N material, and can be used instead of 40CrNi steel.
