Tempering includes high temperature tempering, medium temperature tempering and low temperature tempering. Tempering can reduce or eliminate the internal stress produced by quenching, reduce the hardness and strength, and improve the ductility or toughness of steel. After ASME SA36 carbon steel plate sheet quenching, the workpiece should be tempered in time, and the required mechanical properties can be obtained through the combination of quenching and tempering.

ASME SA36 carbon steel plate sheet, 12Cr1MoV steel is alloy structure steels, and it is usually produced into 12Cr1MoV steel coil, 12Cr1MoV steel sheet, 12Cr1MoV steel plate, 12Cr1MoV steel bar, etc. 12Cr1MoV steel is composed of Carbon, Silicon, Manganese, Chrome, Molybdenum and so on chemical elements. Amng them, the C content is 0.08-0.15, Si 0.17-0.37, Mn 0.40-0.70, Cr 0.90-1.20, Mo 0.25-0.35. The tensile strength of 12Cr1MoV steel is not lower than 490 Mpa, and yield strength is not lower than 245 Mpa.
