Carbon EN steel grade S355J0 material steel with casting performance

EN steel grade S355J0 material, Q345 steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties. Q345 steel also has acceptable low temperature performance, good plasticity and weldability. Q345 steel can be used as structures, mechanical parts, building structures and general metal structures bearing dynamic loads such as medium and low pressure vessels, oil tanks, vehicles, cranes, mining machinery, power stations and bridges. Q345 steel can be used in hot rolling or normalizing state, and can be used in various structures in cold regions below - 40 ℃.

Z-direction steel refers to thick steel with good tensile resistance in thickness direction. In the application of steel plate, the reason for additional performance requirements on the thickness direction of steel is due to the existence of defects in the thickness direction of steel in the process of casting and rolling. This defect makes the steel prone to lamellar tearing during welding, which reduces or even loses the design bearing capacity of application. The Z-direction performance is required for EN steel grade S355J0 material and so on steel plate with the tensile force along the plate thickness direction greater than or equal to 40mm.

Novel coronavirus pneumonia has been closed in recent years, and Pohang iron and Steel Co., Ltd. closed its overseas processing center in Italy, Malaysia, Philippines and India. At the request of the Italian government, all production activities will be stopped except for the necessary EN steel grade S355J0 material products. POSCO-ITPC, an Italian stainless steel cold rolling mill near Verona in northeast Italy, is scheduled to close from March 26 to April 3.
