EN steel grade S275J2 material material standard

The center has an annual processing capacity of 40000 tons of EN steel grade S275J2 material stainless steel processing plant. POSCO-MKPC in Malaysia and POSCO-PMPC in the Philippines have been closed on March 17 and 18 respectively, and will be closed to the end of March. In addition, POSCO's rolling plate processing center in India will also be closed to March 31 as instructed by the local government of India."

The width of the EN steel grade S275J2 material thin plate is 500 - 1500 mm; the width of the thick plate is 600 - 3000 mm. The tensile strength of A36 steel plate is 58-80 Ksi (about 400-550MPa), and the yield strength is 36 Ksi (about 250MPa); the tensile strength of Q235 steel plate is 370-500 MPa, and the yield strength is 235MPa; the tensile strength of SS400 steel plate is 400-510MPa, and the yield strength is 245MPa. For the mechanical properties of EN steel grade S275J2 material, SS400 steel plate and Q235 steel plate, the thickness of steel plate is less than 16mm. It can be seen from the above data that ASME A36 and Chinese Q235 are named after the yield strength of the material, while SS400 is named after the tensile strength of the material.
