Export great ASME SA514 steel material to Romania

Jspl announced plans to build a 2.5-million-ton-a-year ASME SA514 steel material steel plant in the ramga region of the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is reported that the company has a wire mill, a bar mill and a steel service center in the region. The new steel plant is expected to be put into operation in two to three years. The completion of the new ASME SA514 steel material steel plant will be conducive to its integration and elimination of backward production capacity.

15CrMo steel belongs to Pearlite Heat-resistant steel, which has high thermal strength (δb≥440MPa) and oxidation resistance at high temperature (generally not more than 600 ℃), and has certain hydrogen corrosion resistance. So ASME SA514 steel material, 15CrMo steel is widely used in petrochemical industry. However, due to the high content of Cr, C and other alloy elements in the steel, the hardening tendency of 15CrMo steel is obvious and the weldability is poor. The main problems are hardening in heat affected zone, cold cracks and reheat cracks during post weld heat treatment.
