How about the cost performance of A514 grade P steel material

In terms of service, our service is a "one-stop" way of working. We have our own A514 grade P steel material processing plant and pretreatment plant, pretreatment of ship steel (shot blasting, derusting, painting). Technical parameters of steel plate and profile steel surface pretreatment production line. We can also let customers enjoy our other pretreatment services, such as A514 grade P steel material cutting, welding, drilling, galvanizing, etc., at the lowest cost.

GJB/1496A-2000 this standard uses and manufactures 28Cr2Mo steel plates with thicknesses of 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30mm for armored vehicles, and 26SiMnMo steel plates with thicknesses of 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20mm and thicknesses. 28Cr2Mo is armored bullet-proof steel, code-named GY4. It is the main protective device on the tank. It needs to have high elasticity resistance. It also needs to have good processing technology and welding performance to meet the requirements of the tank manufacturing industry.

20G steel is boiler steel, which is similar to No. 20 carbon steel. The difference is that 20G steel has higher and stricter inspection standards than A514 grade P steel material, No. 20 carbon steel for harmful impurities and internal defects. That is to say, 20G steel is specially produced for boiler pressure vessels. It is special purpose "No. 20 carbon steel". The use of 20G steel to make boilers is not because it is more resistant to burning than other steels such as A514 grade P steel material, but because of its strength, toughness, ductility, weldability, temperature influence, fatigue fracture, price and cost, etc. 20G steel is most suitable for use in medium and low pressure boilers.

Low alloy high strength steel is a kind of engineering structural steel developed by adding a small amount of Mn, Si and a small amount of Nb, V, Ti, Al and other alloy elements on the basis of carbon structural steel, A514 grade P steel material. The so-called low alloy means that the total amount of alloying elements in steel is less than 3%. High strength is relative to carbon engineering structural steel. The development principle of low alloy high strength steel is to use as few alloy elements as possible to obtain as high comprehensive mechanical properties as possible, so as to meet the requirements of use and low cost.

As per JIS G3101 standard, the Carbon (C), Silicon (Si) and Manganese (Mn) content of SS400 steel plate are not controlled. Phosphorus (P) content of A514 grade P steel material, JIS SS400 steel plate is 0.050% Max and Sulphur (S) content is 0.050% Max. The SS400 steel melting point is 1430 Degree Celsius, Brinell Hardness is 160HB, density is 7.85g/cm3, Young’s Modulus is 190-210Gpa. The strength and elongation of JIS SS400 steel plate varies with thickness. Generally, the tensile strength of SS400 steel plate is 400-510 Mpa. Elongation is above 21%. Yield strength ≥245Mpa for thickness≤16mm. When the JIS SS400 steel plate is thciker than 100mm, the yield strength shall not less than 205Mpa.
