This material has better corrosion resistant property than 304/314L for it's higher Ni and Mo content. (it is considered to be marine grade stainless steel, not suitable for warm sea water treatment). 316L austenitic stainless steel supplied by our company has good formability and weldablity, additionally it is proved to have excellent properties of tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths in elevated temperature environment.

Mechanical properties of 42SiMn steel: tensile strength 885 MPa; yield strength 735 MPa; elongation after fracture: 15; reduction of area: 40; impact energy: 47J. 42SiMn steel belongs to alloy quenched and tempered steel with good properties, high strength, wear resistance and hardenability. Under certain conditions, the strength, wear resistance and hot working performance of 42SiMn steel are better than 40Cr steel, S235J2 carbon steel plate sheet, and can be used instead of 40CrNi steel.
