Optimal P content range should be controlled in production of JIS SM400C plates

The JIS SM400C plates plate products have passed the EU CE certification, and have been recognized by China, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and other eight classification societies for high-strength ship plates. The steel strand products have passed the United States (PTI) certification. The JIS SM400C plates products enjoy a high reputation in the domestic and foreign markets. The products are applied to national key projects and sold to 37 countries and regions such as EU, Middle East, Southeast Asia and America.

This JIS SM400C plates method is sensitive to the detection of common steel plate defects such as slag inclusions, porosity and pores. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to find the specific depth of the defect and it is not easy to find cracks.

In 2018, one of our India customers visit Zhengzhou office building and work shop to discuss carbon steel Q235B grind plate technical request. They have strict surface and thickness tolerance, and they also request UT and MT for testing for Q235B grind plate. As a result, they purchase 179 tons as trial order for first cooperation. After using the gind plate, the India customer has good comment on our JIS SM400C plates quality. Till now, we keep exporting around 100 tons per month as regularly.
