There is an inherent difference between the cold forming properties of low-alloy high-strength steel and carbon structural steel. First of all, a certain amount of permanent deformation of low-alloy high-strength steel requires greater force than SA514 grade P steel material, carbon structural steel of the same size. Second, when low-alloy high-strength steel is formed, a slightly larger allowable amount for springback should be given. According to experience, unless the low-alloy high-strength steel is processed to control the shape of inclusions, it is necessary to use a larger bending radius than carbon structural steel during cold forming.

The Egypt customer ordered 130 tons SA514 grade P steel material stainless steel plate in stock, and this batch has left port today for its destination today(October 25th, 2019). 316l stainless steel is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. This material has better corrosion resistant property than 304/314L for it's higher Ni and Mo content. (it is considered to be marine grade stainless steel, not suitable for warm sea water treatment). 316L austenitic stainless steel supplied by our company has good formability and weldablity, additionally it is proved to have excellent properties of tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths in elevated temperature environment.

40Cr grade under GB/T 3077-2015 standard is a alloy steel bar material. SA514 grade P steel material, 40Cr alloy chemical composition (C: 0.37 ~ 0.44, Si: 0.17 ~ 0.37, Mn: 0.50 ~ 0.80, Cr: 0.80 ~ 1.10, Ni: ≤0.30, P: ≤0.030, S: ≤0.030, Cu: ≤0.30, Mo: ≤0.10). Heat treatment: First quenching heating temperature (℃): 850; coolant: oil; Temperature heating temperature (℃): 520. 40Cr steel tensile strength (σb / MPa): ≥980. Yield point (σs / MPa): ≥785
