Weathering steel is mainly used for steel structures exposed to the atmosphere for a long time, such as railways, vehicles, bridges, towers, photovoltaics, and high-speed projects. It TStE380 carbon steel plate sheet is used to manufacture structural parts such as containers, railway vehicles, oil derricks, seaport buildings, oil production platforms, and containers containing hydrogen sulfide corrosive medium in chemical petroleum equipment.

Common carbon killed steel plates are steel plates made by hot-rolling ordinary carbon structural steel killed billets. The advantage of TStE380 carbon steel plate sheet, killed steel is that the chemical composition is uniform, so the mechanical properties of each part are also uniform, the welding performance and plasticity are good, and the corrosion resistance is strong. Common killed steel plates are mainly used to produce components that withstand impact at low temperatures, welded structures and other structural parts that require higher strength.

In the second step of hot rolling process, different finished mills are used to roll billets or continuous casting billets into finished steel of proper shape and size. This TStE380 carbon steel plate sheet production process is called finished product production, which is generally divided into two stages of rough rolling and finish rolling. In the roughing stage, a large amount of reduction (reduction per pass) is adopted to reduce the number of passes and improve the output; after roughing, the finishing stage is entered, and the finishing is carried out with a small amount of reduction to achieve a good surface and accurate TStE380 carbon steel plate sheet size.

Pressure vessel steel plates are mainly used for manufacturing pressure vessels and other similar equipment for gas separation and gas storage and transportation in petroleum and chemical industry. Generally, the working pressure of pressure vessel steel plates ranges from normal pressure to 320kg / cm2 or even 630kg / cm2, and the temperature ranges from - 20 °C to 450 °C. In addition to certain strength, good plasticity and toughness, pressure vessel steel plates must also have good cold bending and welding properties. Q245R, Q345R, 14Cr1MoR, 15CrMoR, TStE380 carbon steel plate sheet etc. are common pressure vessel steel grades.
