Tempering includes high temperature tempering, medium temperature tempering and low temperature tempering. Tempering means to reheat the EN steel grade S355ML material quenched steel to a certain temperature and then cool it in a certain way. Tempering can reduce or eliminate the internal stress produced by quenching, reduce the hardness and strength, and improve the ductility or toughness of steel. After EN steel grade S355ML material quenching, the workpiece should be tempered in time, and the required mechanical properties can be obtained through the combination of quenching and tempering.

In 2013, one of our clients in Korea purchased 890 tons Q345B square tube from us for one building construction project. Our clients required no burr in the side of the tube, we finally produce the goods with great condition and +/-0.25mm tolerance for wall thickness, which is a very great tolerance with customers’ required size. Our square tube full available range is 2-16mm for wall thickness, and 40-500mm for width. In addition, our Q/C department will seriously control all of the process of every order.

According to GB 11251 technical standard, the chemical composition of 40Cr structural steel plate is as follow: Carbon content is 0.37-0.44 %, Silicon content is 0.17-0.37%, Manganese content is 0.50-0.80%, Chrome content is 0.80-1.10%. 40Cr steel is usually in shape of 40Cr steel plates and bars. EN steel grade S355ML material, GB 11251 is for 40Cr structural steel plate with thickness range of 4-30mm. The tensile strength of 40Cr structural steel plate is 550-800Mpa. And its min. Elongation is 16%.
