The delamination problem of SM400C carbon steel material

SM400C carbon steel material, 45# steel is widely used in mechanical manufacturing, and its mechanical properties are very good. But 45# steel is a kind of medium carbon steel, the quenching property is not good, 45# steel can be hardened to HRC42 ~ 46. Therefore, if the surface hardness is required, and the superior mechanical properties of 45# steel are expected to be exerted, the surface of 45# steel is often carburized and quenched, so that the required surface hardness can be obtained.

Laser cutting SM400C carbon steel material has no burr, wrinkle and precision is high. It is superior to plasma cutting. Laser cutting has good cutting quality, narrow cutting width (generally 0.1-0.5m m), high accuracy (generally 0.1-0.4mm hole center distance error, 0.1-0.5mm contour dimension error), good surface roughness (generally Ra is 12.5-25μm), and the SM400C carbon steel material cutting seam can be welded without further processing. Fast cutting speed: for example, with 2kW laser power, the cutting speed of 8mm thick carbon steel is 1.6m/min.
