In 2018, one of our India customers visit Zhengzhou office building and work shop to discuss carbon steel Q235B grind plate technical request. They have strict surface and thickness tolerance, and they also request UT and MT for testing for Q235B grind plate. As a result, they purchase 179 tons as trial order for first cooperation. Formation reason: it is mainly due to the hairline, hot crack and cold crack caused by surface over burning, decarburization, looseness, deformation and excessive internal stress during processing (forging, rolling, heat treatment, quenching and tempering), as well as the high content of sulfur and phosphorus impurities on the surface. Inspection method: S460QL1 carbon steel plate sheet surface cracks can be detected by naked eye observation, acid pickling, magnetic particle inspection, coloring inspection and metallographic method.
